On Ghost Imaging Studies for Information Optical Imaging

Since the birth of information theory, to understand, study, and optimize optical imaging systems from information–theoretic viewpoint has been an important research subfield imaging, accompanied by a series corresponding advances. However, since “direct point-to-point” image acquisition mode traditional systems, which directly performs one-to-one signal mapping object detection plane, lacks “coding–decoding” operation on information, related studies based theory are more meaningful in theoretical sense, while almost acting as icing cake for optimization design practical contributing little substantive breakthroughs further capabilities. With modern light-field modulation techniques well ghost techniques, establish point-to-point reproduction high-order correlation light fields, currently, it is able encode with controllable spatiotemporal fluctuations during process. Combined digital photoelectric technologies, behave line modulation–demodulation transmission compared imaging.
